Allison Mueller
Interior Designer
I have worked for over 30 years styling and designing interiors, room sets, homewares, food shoots and advertising campaigns.
During that time, I developed a passion for vessels and decorative ceramic forms and started studying and working with clay in 2015. After retirement in late 2020 I was finally able to pursue this love on a full time basis and am currently studying a Diploma of Ceramics.
Everything I do is black or white! I absolutely love wheel forming, although I am becoming increasingly interested in hand-building techniques due to the different shapes and textures that can be achieved.
In early 2020, I studied the art of Raku in a small country village in Italy called Sorano and have since set up a small smoke-free Raku firing system in her studio in Manly, Sydney.
I am keen to pursue my interests in developing glazes and different textures and techniques to apply to my work.
